The Dance Band from the south land. They aRe one of the first great Christian Ska bands from Orange County California. Their debut albumn, Adventures of the orange county Supertoens, was released in 96 and is a classic ska disc. Since then they've come out with three other cds; Strike Back(97), Chase the Sun(99), and Loud and Clear(00). New Live CD out now, tis quite rockin. Also a new record expected late this year.

These aRe the fun, whacky, yet still inspiring mostly ska guys. Their shows aRe probably the most fun and always require some dancing of some sort. They have 3 full length cds; Upbeats and Beat Downs, Our newst Albumn Ever, All the Hype that Money can Buy, along with an ep and a live albumn which tries to catch the fun spirited nature of thier live shows. There aRe also a number of singles that they've put together (most of which aRe hard to find) These guys aRe also the band with 7 guys and 8 guy names. yoU do the math and figure out how that works, meanwhile I'll be visting Jeff's website. New FIVE IRON is out NOW, Electric boogle-something-er-ether.

The 'other' ska band. These guys have done some great works of their own; Motor City Ska, and Fight of My Life, as well as two praise and worship cds; skallelulia 1 & 2. They also have a couple of singles floating around out there someplace and a new Greatest and Rarest cd which has a great collection of their works. They aRe working on an all new project currently and it is supposed to be thier best yet so keep an eye out for it.

The band that no one knows whats the deal with. aRe they a christian band or aren't they? They aRe not signed with a christian label and officially i guess aren't a 'Christian' band but then again who defines those terms anyway, certainly not I. However the lead singer is a Christian and his parents aRe reportedly missionairies. The lyrics aRe deep and if they're not divenly inspired then i don't know whats up.

The good band that, not that many people know about. They aRe kind of new to the scene just relasing thier fist albumn last year entitled Kelidascope Superior (if thats not spelled right yoU forget who made this page). If yoU haven't heard them yoU might want to check them out for a different kind of sound. They're supposed to have a new albumn out later this year as well ... finally.

The ever so popular group from New Zealand (well mostly). They have like a galziolion albumns probably their biggest being Take Me to Your Leader. Their most recent has been a greatest hits selection featuring some of the best songs they've done over the years and a couple of really good new songs.

The band that only the people who know something, know about. High energy sort of rock band headed up by their lead singer Tricia. They were first discovered by my ears at Lifest(2000) and they put on quite a fun and lifely show. They have just recently released their first albumn. They tend to preach against the wordly standards of beauty. Check 'em out they're a lot of fun. Garage bands rule. Start your own. NEW Albumn, Last One Picked, out now. Check it out 'cause it rocks as did the first one.

Rain rain on my face, hasn't stopped raining for days. My world is a flood slowly I become one with the mud... Yeah almost everybody knows flood but these guys have written far beyond their debut days. They also have Much Afraid and If I Left the Zoo which has some good songs on it as well. The Eleventh Hour is their new project out.

If yoU don't know who dct is then yoU aRe probably at a loss for this entire page. If yoU seriously need explaining as to who they aRe just ask and I might be tempted to make fun o- I mean fill yoU in on the scoop. Currently each of the three of them have released singles so yoU may want to check them out.

Audio A has been around for quite a while. They have a hand full or so of dics and aRe quite good at that. My favorite of thier works would have to be the Some Kind of Zombie disc. But if ya happen to find the Zombie single that would be cool too as it has a version of the hair brush song that is rockin'. New albumn 'Lift'.

The best guys around. Thier debut album was quite awesome and included the ever so famous Basic Instrutions song. In general these guys aRe fast and fun acoustic driven with a unique sound. Within the past year they've gone through some changes and have done almost everything but actually break up. The remaining members of the band have brought a few more people on to join them and aRe rumored to be working on their next albumn do out in 2002. However, their old lead guy Steve is gone now but we still look foward to their new project, expect in April 2003.

These aRe the solid acoustic just about anything boys (and Daneil). They've got some great sounds and chord progressions that aRe quite different from anybody else out their. They have 3 cds out now The Caedmon's Call self titled, Forty Acres, and Long Line of Leavers. My personal favs aRe the first one and the newest one, nothing against 40-acres though. New Albumn out now ! And Folks, its a praise one so watch out. "In the Company of Angels"

They rely on something, though I'm not really sure how to define their music. Defiantly high energy fun stuff, their shows aRe just simply crazy and can sometimes get down right brutal but still fun. They have 2 cds out now, the new one being the Anatomy of the tongue in Cheek. They have the classic marylin manson song, as well as other numorous good ones.

What's the deal? Yes, the W's aRe no more. But these guys as really, the only big Christian swing band were great. They put out two albumns which were danicing crazy. A big thanks to Five Iron for these guys. Now three of the guys have gone off to other bands. Little A and Courtney aRe starting Alpha Charlie, no word on the type of music or a release date, rumor has it that they aRe to be signed with the tooth.

Can yoU say punk? I know I can. And thats pretty much all I've got to say about these guys. Their ever so classic song is Love Your Enemies. I'm not entirly sure on if they aRe still a band or what not if anyone knows drop me line, I do know that they put out one cd with 5-minute entilted Don't Get Board.

So Far From Home. The space pop side project from Reese, Keith and Dennis of Five Iron. These guys have come together and created a totaly different sounding style than from their upbeat ska type of Five Iron. Their So Far From Home disc (the only one as of now) is simply the greatest. The ever so classic under bridges song comes from here as well as a number of other greats. They kind of represent the dark side of Five Iron but, they show that darkness ends with God.

The new Bettie Rocket artist called the Temper Tantrums, whose debut CD came out on August 1. This all girl punk band, whose motive is to bring joy, consists of three members adopting the surname Tantrum: Leanne on guitar and lead vocals, Melissa on drums and Effie on bass and background vocals. They got together three years ago at WWU in Bellevue, Washington. Only Melissa knew how to play an instrument when they first started. They are about two things, having fun and loving God. Their motive is "We will play anywhere”. For a more detailed look, check out the article on them in Pure Motive Magazine. Also, check them out on their web site.

Tree63 exhibits the band’s signature large modern rock sound
as the backdrop for a unique collection of modern worship songs. The collaboration
between John (lead vocals/guitar), Darryl (drums/backing vocals) and Martin
(bass/backing vocals) has produced both a musical and lyrical depth that is
unsurpassed. The project is a hybrid of newer material and existing repertoire
that has been a part of the band’s live performances over the past few years.
They currently have the one cd out now, but new stuff shall be around late
this year.

Yes, very good. They kind of have a classic west coast light rock sound to them. My personal fav. song of thiers would have to be Spoon, but theres other classics of thiers for instance God-Man is well known.

The Benjamin Gate aRe the new ones on forefront records. Being from South Africa, the have a great south african sounding rock type. And I'm a big fan of thier lead singer. (j/k) Also, they have a good video of "all Over Me" that ya can watch on forefront record's website (or at least they did when i wrote this). (forefreontrecords.com) New disk out entitled Contact.

High energy rock guys, they have two actual albums; thier self entitled one and Internation Anthem. There also is a hits albumn which is basically all their good songs and a few other extras. They aRe expected to be releasing a new albumn sometime this summer.
